Install Local Agent

Install this app on each Mac you want to connect to your Cloud Tree account.

Download macOS Agent (.pkg) Open Pairing Setup Back to Admin
Install And Link This Mac

Download the app, install it, open Cloud Tree Agent, then finish pairing from Settings > Local Agent Setup.

  1. Download Cloud Tree Agent (.pkg).
  2. Install it, then open Cloud Tree Agent from /Applications.
  3. Wait for the menu bar icon to appear.
  4. Open Settings > Local Agent Setup.
  5. Click Connect This Device, then return to Admin to confirm this Mac is ready.

What To Expect

  • The native app keeps the same local service at http://127.0.0.1:8787/ and stores runtime data under ~/Library/Application Support/DriveCatalogAgent/.
  • Pairing happens from the signed-in Settings screen after the app is running.

If startup or pairing looks stuck, open the menu bar icon and use Open Logs or Open Local Admin.
